The Sigmatel STAC 9200 series audio driver is for Windows Vista only. If you are using Windows 2000 or XP, click here for the driver. It installs version 6.1 of the driver onto your system and can be used as an update to an earlier driver or as part of a new installation. Note that if you are experiencing no sound in Windows Vista, you may need to uninstall the current audio driver, restart Windows, then install the Sigmatel driver package. Be sure to make suitable backups in case something goes wrong. There is no clear documentation to the exact model numbers the driver will support but it is apparently suitable for the following Sigmatel STAC 92xx series, which is:

STAC 9200, STAC 9204, STAC 9205, STAC 9220, STAC 9221, STAC 9223, STAC 9227, STAC 9228, STAC 9229, STAC 9230, STAC 9254, STAC 9255, STAC 9271, STAC 9272, STAC 9273, STAC 9274.
