The Premiere Elements 3.0.2 update fixes a number of bugs since the release of Premiere Elements 3.0. Importantly, if you are using Windows Vista, this update will fix compatibility issues between Vista and Photo Elements 3.0. Premiere Elements 5.0 was released in in September 2006, but the final version of Windows Vista was not available at the time to complete the compatibility testing (it shipped several months later). Once Vista was finalised, the 3.0.2 patch was released. Adobe lists the system requirements as either Windows XP or Windows Vista only.

In addition to Vista support, this update:

Fixes the 'cpp.267' error when starting or editing projects

Improves responsiveness of editing in timeline view

Fixes issues with DVD menu text highlights after reopening a previously burned project

Fixes application crashes on selecting the DVD template folder
