Some of the fixes included with SP2 have been previously released as separate updates. This service pack combines them into one update. This service pack also includes all updates released since Office XP Service Pack 1 (SP1):

You should install SP1 before applying this update.

Important Any future Office XP updates released after Office XP SP2 will require you to have SP2 installed before they can be applied.
